I am a mathematician who obtained my PhD at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. My advisor was Timur Oikhberg. My day time job is now in industry, but in my spare time I still like to work on pure math research.
My academic work is in the area of functional analysis and its interplay with mathematical logic. My current academic research is on Banach lattices, their geometry, and their classifications and characterizations using tools from functional analysis, descriptive set theory, and continuous logic.
My applied/ industry work is in a combination of areas, including but not limited to modelling/ simulation, algorithm development, and signal processing.
